Next, we’ll continue north along the Wisconsin side of the river before crossing back into Minnesota and arriving in historic Red Wing. Known for its picturesque downtown, boutique shopping, parks, and rich river heritage, Red Wing offers free time to explore at your own pace.

The journey then continues through Old Frontenac, a beautifully preserved Civil War–era village filled with elegant historic homes and timeless charm. Along the way, you’ll also see Villa Maria, a stunning early-1900s landmark that once operated as a girls’ school and now is used as a unique event venue.
